Masters of Science in Nursing/MBA/HCM
The MSN/MBA/HCM programs helps nurses acquires the business management and nursing skills necessary to manage cutting-edge healthcare delivery systems. Students gain skills and insight from both programs that help them develop and maintain patient services. The MBA/HCM program focuses on the diagnosis, evaluation, and solving of complicated management problems that necessitate leaders with technical understanding and balanced decision making. Group process skills, oral reporting, and report writing are taught in conjunction with finance, accounting, and management courses.
An applied management science project facilitates the development of additional expertise in management problem solving. The project brings together the goal of improved managerial capabilities with the student's own professional interests and roles. The applied management science project proves the candidates' abilities to confidently and professionally fill a number of sophisticated management roles in the healthcare industry; it also provides students with the opportunity to integrate theory into practice.
The following admission requirements are expected to be met by all applicants to this program:
1) Registered Nurse License
2) Nationally or regionally accredited U.S. bachelor degree
3) 3 or more years' work experience in health care
