Masters of Education / Early Childhood Development
The Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education is a graduate degree designed for educators pursuing information and training regarding early childhood development and instruction. The curriculum encompasses the influence of cultural diversity and family on early childhood, theories of early childhood development and growth, assessment techniques, instructional methodologies, and teaching strategies.
The following admission requirements are expected to be met by all applicants to this program:
1) A regionally or nationally accredited U.S. bachelor's degree
2) A cumulative graduate GPA of 2.5 or higher
3) 3 years of full time work experience
4) A minimum of 9 months K-12 instructional or teaching experience.
