Modern and new technologies affect every part of a business, from organizational management to customer relations. To achieve a competitive advantage one must have a strong understanding of technology in order to be able to identify solutions to business problems. The M.A.B.C. in Communication Technology concentrates on the vital relationship between effective communication and technology found within organizations. Students will be guided through an exploration of how the Internet is utilized as a marketing tool, the effect of advanced technologies on communication within and between organizations, and how managers and their employees can creatively and innovatively take advantage of new technologies. Additionally, students will be taught the basics of e-commerce and the application of successful business strategies as they manage the resources associated with an e-business.
