Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Management
As the telecommunications industry continues to expand, more knowledgeable employees are needed. Ellis College offers a bachelor's degree with a telecommunications management emphasis designed to give students the basic training they will need to compete in the telecommunications industry. Topics that are specifically covered throughout the program include industry technologies, principles, and applications. In addition, there will be a general introduction to the essential concepts of telecommunications including data transmission, signal and channel bandwidth, analog and digital modulation techniques (AM, FM, FSK, PSK, etc.), switching (cell, packet, and circuit), digitization of voice (emphasis placed on PCM), and multiplexing (SONET, TDM, SDH, T1 multiplexing, and FDM).
